Dusk Through the Trees (Photo Essay)

Tonight I couldn't help but notice how pretty the sky looked as the sun was setting.  The sun was really no longer visible, but the sky was just gorgeous. 

 

 

 

 

I left dinner cooking on the stove to go outside and take just one shot.  Well, dinner burned....because one picture was not enough to capture the beauty.

 

 

 

 

A sliver of moon appeared, lovely against the colorful sky.

 

 

 

 

Some of the images are a bit blurred, but I wanted to share anyway, because the color was so beautiful.  I hope you enjoyed!

I'm with Elizabeth (above) trying to remember the last time I watched a moon rise. (Note to self---check calendar and watch moon rise when almost full.)
