In A Gather Slump...

I've had a crazy week...My hot water heater caught on fire after a leak shorted it out...of course the fire happened AFTER the plumber left...LOL...it's all fixed now, but it was an expensive ordeal.

I can sympathize Danielle...Hang in there!

Sounds like my week Danielle. I repaired the dishwasher, changed a flat tire, had to wash the car each time I went out...long story due to my road being under construction, repaired the kitchen sink drain. Is the week really over?

I was in that kind of slump about a week ago and then I realized I was missing sunlight!

This past week I've been submitting, in response to a couple of rejections. Now, I'm editing like crazy on an older play that someone contacted me about being interested in. I've improved as a playwright since I wrote it so I have my work cut out for me!

Tonight Shan and I put up our tree and ran to Wal-Mart to get a tree skirt. We can't for the life of us figure out where our old one has gone to. While we were there I saw the prettiest wreath. It looked perfect for the door in our newly enclosed porch. Shan and I looked at each other and quickly figured that since we weren't traveling over the holidays we could spring for the wreath. It looks nice!

I have had those days myself. I find once I actually sign on and start reading what's out there, I get over it pretty quick :)

I've actually had a great week. Nothing specific that would seem to make it that way, but I have felt better than I have in a long time. Tomorrow we are putting up our tree, and then it's a busy week of birthday's and traveling.

Looking forward to some of your writting. Mostly work here, a little TV, not enough cleaning, and a little computer time. Wathced my 7 yr old great niece, for her Dad to work and her Mom to shop, Sat.

Sorry so late, I feel this way at times, but with all my Gather buddies cheering me on, that's my inspiration!!!

I was in a slump last night but the holidays seem to have revived me a bit :-) It's crazy at work (driving me crazy as well) but the kids are so excited about the holidays which makes it fun :-)

LOL Glad your gather friends have that effect on you. Know that you do have a lot of friends on here. All of us are ready and willing to get you out of that slump. :)

I go through periods like that too. I can't seem to think of anything to write, and never have anything clever to say on my comments. I am glad to see you are out of your slump. I just finished putting up our tree today.

I've got to get up before the kids so I can have some computer time!
