Finally getting to it.....

It has been a long time, but I have finally gotten back into my scrapbooking!

My daughter & I have loved to scrapbook, but with the moving we have been doing we have kind of pushed it aside for the past 2-3 years. So needless to say...I'm a bit behind!

But anyways, we got our craft room all set up with two craft tables, and all of our stuff seems to be everywhere!

So right now I've started working on getting all of my childhood photo's into an album. I'm moving quickly on that project because I'm not doing any fancy scrapbooking with those photos.

Once I'm done with all of my childhood photos (maybe next week) then I'm going to get my husbands childhood/ young adult photos into an album. it feels good to get all of these pictures out of containers & into albums.....they are preserved!

Oh I also have some really old black & white photos that I need an album and to get them scrapbooked, but I may delay on that one just a little while.

 

We are having fun anyways, getting all the scrapbooking done & I've enjoyed going down memory lane....looking at all the old pictures!

I would love to do scrapbooking, and I plan on doing so, and have for a while. My issue is hereditary though, I don't devlop pictures until years later, or now that I have a digital, I don't print them out until I really need them. Arn't I horrible?

Sounds like you're having a good time with the scrapbooking! I made albums for my son and my two oldest daughters. I plan to add pages as events happen, and I get more photos!
I still have my youngest daughter to make an album for. I know I'll have fun doing it.

It can be expensive...and messy. So I am very glad that we have a specific craft room where we can spread it all out & not have to put it all away everytime we are done for the day....

Sounds like fun! I've never done much scrapbooking but I use my journal as a sort of combination journal/scrapbook and I enjoy some of the other altered arts.

Scrapbooking can be great. I currently put most of our books together with iPhoto on the Mac, but sometimes the scissors and paper method is the only way to go.
