How many of us would swap transportation with Venetians...? Or just to try it for 1 month..? The Venetian's Lifestyle even if it might look absurd or impossible to us, They all seem to lead happy lives. From a poll I did at the time I visited Venice, 90% of the people would never leave. As a figure of speech.... “They would go down with the ship...!”

I have always wanted to visit Italy! :)
All kidding aside, I would love to visit Venice. But as Elsie said, there's no place like home. Beautiful picture Marco.
Love the photo, Marco. Thanks for sharing the beauty you've found!
I am sure someone with come up with a money making idea reduce our dependency on oil/ gas and life will be much different in years to come. When you look at the progress with the different advances with technologies such as computers which used to be the size of a whole building and now are as small as a lap top, the wright brothers flight to the shuttle flights and black and white tvs to HDTV plasma hanging on our walls, todays cars will radically change in years to come as long as there is money to be made!!
I would like to say sorry for taking a while to get to your article. I have been away from gather for a while and I am finally getting to the 3000 plus emails I have awaiting me on here to go through. so I am starting from the most recent received to the first I ever received.... So now I am finally able to read your piece. Thank you for sending me the link to this article.
Now second thing:
If you remember we almost did live like that at one point... For gas reasons I think its rocks... but we would have to be brought into it slowly.
