About A Deleted Article

It is one thing for those on either political extreme to post articles to "The Political Middle" to try to persuade others to their point of view; it is something else to use the group to slander those who disagree with you and disparage there motives.

As owner of the Political Middle I have chosen to delete the article (Planned Parenthood and Racial Purification: "Liberal Secrets the Left Don't want you to know about.")

 It attempts to link today's Planned Parenthood organization and liberals to eugenics and racial purification because Margaret Sanger, who died many years ago reflected the attitudes of her day and did not see blacks and other minority groups as equals. Based on that the author of the article  concluded that Planned Parenthood and liberals have a secret agenda and are using birth control and a woman's right to choose as a means of forwarding that agenda.

There is about as much validity to that argument to the author's arguments as there is to suggesting that because some of them were slave owners, our founding father's had a secret agenda to protect the practice of slavery and that was the real reason for advocating that the colonies separate from England and establish a new nation and we should discard all that has resulted from our founding father's actions because it was forever tainted.

The article was also posted to other groups, so anyone interested in reading it may find it there unless the owner's of those groups have also decided to delete it.  It is as one commenter stated, "......right wing garbage..." and should not have been posted to the group, "The Political Middle" in the first place.
