The World's Worst Hypochondriac

Introduction

Unfortunately this is based on an actual person.

1. She went to the emergency room for a boo-boo.

2. The only times she's not complaining is when she's eating and when she's asleep.

3. She celebrates the holidays by going to Urgent Care.

4. She told me she was sick as a dog. I told her to eat some Alpo and to go to a veterinarian.

5. She wanted to go to the emergency room for a hangnail.

6. She's had a hundred X-Rays and they were all negative.

You're welcome. I wish that I could do more to fight hypochondria, but she doesn't listen to me.

Sounds like my mom...bless her heart. Takes so much medications that when the pharmacy runs out they call her to see if she has extra...lol. Funny but sad...why I won't go to the doctor or take meds...I would rather be sick and I am too mean to get sick...lol

My Mother has been gone for years. She died of a stroke. She ate meat all her life, along with eggs and dairy products. The cholesterol killed her. My Father ate meat all his life. He died of colon cancer. The hypochondriac needs reassurance. I feel that it is a chemical imbalance. I favor orthomolecular treatment. My Mother was a nurse.
The hypochondriac is someone that I know.
