I never thought much about juice until my husband became diabetic. Now I am diabetic as well. Both our doctors have told us to stay away from juice and eat the fruit instead. Since then I have given it some thought. Think it out for yourselves. One orange to one glass of orange juice. Think about how many oranges it takes to make one glass of juice. There is a big difference in the sugar content from one orange and one glass of juice. I don't buy juice anymore. I try to always keep my fridge stocked with at least three diffenert kinds of fruit. What is your opinion?

If you have diabetes, make sure your doctor tests you for celiac disease. 10% of diabetics have it. You may get improvements in your symptoms and insulin needs by going gluten-free, if you are gluten-intolerant/have celiac disease. Gluten is the offending protein in wheat, rye and barley. It causes the body to mount an immune response, damaging the lining of the intestines and causing malabsorption of vitamins, minerals, and nutrients. You can be underweight OR overweight, and 50% have digestive symptoms, 50% have no such symptoms. Any body system can be attacked. See my article for further research options:

I never really thought of it before that a glass of orange juice has a lot more oranges in it than 1 orange.
You might also look into
buying a juicer.
My husband and I LOVE
to use the juicer!
We have a mango tree. I was told to avoid mangoes (and other sweet tropical fruits), but it drives me bats to have the tree right there and not be able to eat the delightful fruit. So, my husband and son eat the vast majority and I have a few bites now and then. Great fruit!
