This dessert is easy to make and very eye appealing. Take a softened 8oz. package of cream cheese and beat it until soft and creamy. Mix in a can of sweatened condensed milk. Fold in a container of thawed whipped topping. You can use either an 8oz. or a 16oz container, depending on how light you want the dessert to be. I usually use a 16oz. container. Take half of an angel food cake and tear it into little pieces in a 9" by 13" pan. Take half of the cream cheese mixture and spread it over the cake. Take the rest of the angel food cake and tear it in pieces over the mixture. Spread the remaining mixture over the cake. Chill for two hours After it has chilled pick your favorite pie filling to spread on top. You do need it to chill first so that it holds it shape while you are spreading the pie filling. I have found that fresh strawberries work great! Or be creative and use strawberries and blueberries to make a patriotic look. It looks fancy to take to a potluck but is very easy to make. I hope you try this out!
