Last week Glenn Beck installed a red phone on his television show. White House communications director Anita Dunn is the only one who has the red phone’s number. Mr. Beck has stated that if he has said anything wrong concerning the Obama Administration, she is welcomed to call and to correct him on air.
We know, in the past that the White House has watched Glenn Beck. Recently they did call, and asked Mr. Beck not to use the term “czar.” Now he has publicly reach out to the Obama administration, but they remain silent. During the election Obama said he would be a President who would reach out to everyone. This now seems to be just another broken promise from another partisan politician.
Since Anita Dunn is a fan of the writings of Mao Tse Tung, you would think she would find Mr. Beck’s red phone very appealing.

If he's "for the people" (and not for the NWO), then, he's shaking things up.
Having a red phone just adds to the drama ; )

Thing is Fox is exposing Obama's utter incompetence which they cannot ignore. Since the ratiings of Fox are much higher that MSNBC who is having a love affair with Obama. And least Bush didnt have a student of Mao Tse Tung in the White House

Isn't the whole bunch? Off I mean.
As for Beck if you think he has anything relevant to add to anything then you are as delusional as he is...I've watched his convoluted so called logic and it is as asinine as he is...as for his red phone it is just a stunt as is so much he does...
No, I am not a Democrat nor am I a Republican I just call it as I see it...
:O\
Quoting him at a graduation was bad enough but ... not that much of a big deal. The big deal part is where Dunn said Mao was one of the people she admires.

Seems Newt Gingrich loves to quote Mao as well so guess he loves Chairman Mao as well...
At least Beck reads and stuides the writing of our Founding Father like Thoman Paine and Samuel Adams. I guess you call that asinine and delusional!!!!
You may not be Democrat or a Republican, but you are one who accusing people and calls them names without having any evidence. In other words you run off at the mouth when you dont know what you are talking about, thinking you will impress someone.
As you can see I call it as I see it.
To label Glenn as you have, shows your own ignorance of what our country was founded on and where it should STILL be going. Are you a socialist James? Do you hate our constitution or consider it a "living document" that is subject to change as each stinking politician THINKS it should be?
Sometimes your posts are so ignorant that it just urks me to pieces. ( As do 90% of liberal/enlightened people's posts do. ) Feel free to remove me from your friends list. I'm really tired of your supposed opposing views. And yes... you are a democrat, whether you realize it or not. You suck up to the great one and deny the truth, every time I read one of your continual assaults on other people's rights to believe as we see fit.
You are just like the supposed "Enlightened" college grads. You somehow think that just because you may have graduated from a college, you are somehow much smarter than anyone around you. Well, I say piss off, pal.
Glenn Beck has more patriotism and intelligence in his pinky, than all of you democrats combined.. regardless of how he dispenses it.
Hate, hate, hate and hate! That's all you folks can puke out. You ALL think you are so much more intelligent than the MAJORITY who watch FOX and get the finest reporting in the US.
Sure Dale I read and have read probably more books than you have in your lifetime but at no time have I called you ignorant nor would I consider saying such to you. If that is how you feel then that is how you feel not my calling you such. I went to college sure but I know plenty of people who attended college who came out not all that much more intelligent than when they went in to learn.
As for Fox if you call what they put out as news news then you have been taken in big time. They start a so called story which is not a story of any news at all then report that no one else is covering it so that the other news services will then cover it but it is still not news nor true. That is not being a news service sorry if it offends you but that is the truth.
As for hate don't think at any time I have stated I hate anyone. Nor have I ever said I was more intelligent than anyone. You also did not read my statement I am neither Democrat nor Republican.
Terry, you can admire someone without loving them. I have read Mao does that mean I love him. It only means I know who and what he was and what he said. Any intelligent person will know more than just one thing and listen to more than just one source of news. I do not let someone else make my mind up nor do I blindly follow any man or woman.
I've read enough to know that not all can or will ever use their brains for more than fertilizer for their hair. They let others lead their lives and will follow like sheep. They will believe the worst about someone they do not like and call them names. That is one of the reasons the KKK keeps having people join it. Hate groups do not build they tear down. They destroy everything they disagree with.
If you listen to the words someone spouts and really listen and think about what they say without prejudice you will find what they truly believe. I've listened to Beck and others who call themselves conservative. I will not follow or listened to hate preached as patriotism.
That is my feelings. You can disagree all you want I have lived too many years keeping my thoughts and feelings to myself as a cop you can't be political or couldn't when I was one. Then you may hate cops too I don't know.
:O\
I wonder if you have given this same long lecture to the supporters of Obama Some of the most hateful people online. I doubt it very much. So all your blowing in your last comment is one sided and pointless.
Also I have notice you talked about the KKK, and failed to mention all the people who were muredered by Moa. You were either being one sided, didnt know, or was not thinking.

It's one thing to read Mao, or quote him regarding military strategy (apparently he was pretty good at war), it's quite another to express admiration for him, and quote him as one of one's favorites to a high school graduating class. I think she could have dug up a quote from someone else which would have been just as appropriate maybe more appropriate for the purpose of her example, had she been of a mind (or ideology?) to have done.
Use of the quote in and of itself was not so bad; it was the event at which she used it coupled with her expressed admiration, and the weight of all the other questionable hires in this White House which made the difference between just an offhand quote as opposed to what it turned out to be --> another straw on the camel's back, another watermelon in what seems to be shaping up as a whole patch (heard this today and while I don't go in much for this kind of thing ... and may not find much reason to use it much, it is descriptive of what I've come to believe about what is going on ----- watermelon = green outside; red inside).

This is different from someone that reads and uses selective views of a person, she admires him as a Political Philosopher that she looks up to, and refers to. That is Dunns' own words, that she is an avid follower of Mao.
When we start seeing people that look up to Leaders like Mao, Che, Castrol, Lennen, and Stalin, in Obama's Cabinet, then that spells a problem, especially in the percentage of his cabinet that respects Communist and Violent leaders like they do.
In regard to the quotes, the supporters of this woman choose to refute our horror at what she said by pointing to others who have also quoted Mao AS IF that was the only problem.
The quote itself if presented differently and not couched in terms of admiration in the same breath as admiration for Mother Teresa would not have been so bad ... if not done at a high school graduation.
They choose to do that when it's not actually that she quoted him that is the problem ... it's the context of her quote which is the problem; as you rightly state Dan and Terry.

And in BO's own words: look at the people he surrounds himself with to know who he is. I have a clear picture...thanks in part to Beck.
This ". . . but it sure does seem funny how that kind of leftist communist marxist maoist socialist stuff just keeps popping up all around the President and his appointees," seems to be becoming more and more applicable. :(
You ain't going to make it with anyone anyhow - The Beatles Revolution #1 (1968)
That sums it up with me. Come to think of it, I only agree with Mao on two small things:
1. "Political power comes from a barrel of a gun." It means you have to have some force behind your cause, in the real world, you have to be able to cash the checks you write.
2. "Politics is war without bloodshed while politics is war with bloodshed." Unfortunatley that is true.
Beyond that, you can trash Mao all day, on those two things, either he is realistic enough to see that or we can apply the broken clock theory of it being right twice a day.
I'm still alive but I plan to keep my hiatus going but I might drop in from time to time. Freelance liberal baiting is fun but it takes so much time I can use for other things. B-P
