I would LOVE a copy of this book! I have an almost 7 year old boy and an almost 4 year old girl, her birthday is next month. They are always asking "What if" questions, going on scavengar hunts, pretending and making things up on their own. And we love to read in our house! It's a daily thing we enjoy doing together.

This sounds like a great book. My kids would love this book! 4 of my kids are really into reading and using their imaginations when it comes to playing. This book sounds like it combines the best of both worlds. One of my kids is really into watching CSI, reading and solving mysteries. He especially would get a kick out of this book.
I would love a copy for my nine year-old nephew...he is into all sorts of scientific wonders such as astronomy, pyramids, etc.

One of my friends has an eight year old who would love this book! He's curious about everything, and has a very vivid imagination! I love books that help build problem-solving skills, these skills can be used throughout your life!

my 10 year old nephew can never keep quiet. He has know everything. he has to explore everything. He can read the newspaper so well.

Our family would love this book! Our kids are 12, 11, 10, 9, and 7! 2 Boys and 3 girls. They all love to read and love to give a play by play of what they are reading. They are also curious and ask questions about things that I never even thought about when I was a kid!

My son is five years old and loves to read. He is also a super curious little fella. He loves treasures, rockets, trains, and mysteries. I know he would love this very top secret assignment.

I teach a class of inquistive 3rd graders...I am always looking for books that will spark their interest to get them hooked into being lifelong readers. This book could do just that!
O WOW seems like a wonderful book. I could think of several children I know who would love this book.
I have a friend whose son just turned 8 not to long ago, and him && his older brother && sister would love to explore this book.

My six year old grandson is at that curious stage where every other word is why or how come. I just know that this book would not only keep him entertained but would agive me an excuse to hang around him and ask for a sick day at work!

I DID win a copy in the first give-a-way and I just finished wrapping it for my niece for Christmas! I had a hard time putting it under the tree, because everytime I get near that book I end up getting pulled in and end up reading page after page! This book is a winner and I wish everyone good luck in the contest!!

I can tell you that our kids have enjoyed DK books for many years! These books open up entire worlds to young inquisitive minds! Have fun, and I hope lots of people win one of these books. I'm not asking for a book this time around as I won in the last round. But I want to look at this book anyway. Guess I'll go put it on my Amazon.com wishlist.

Book Review The Prize Winner of Defiance Ohio
We'd love a copy of this book! My thirteen year old son has started a "story time" program at our small church in which on Saturday afternoons he and his football team buddies read to the younger kids. They are currently buying new books for the program through donations and saving their allowances. Needless to say I'm awfully proud of him, and I know he'd appreciate a copy to share with the kids!

This sounds wonderful. I have a yound niece who would devour this book. She has always marched to the beat of her own drummer. The middle child of three girls and the only readhead, she is quiet, but no pushover. She is so smart and self-motivated. While the other girls are rushing about looking for hair bows and brushes in the morning rush, she is calmly sitting on the couch watching the news with her father - assuming he is not engaged in the search for bows and brushes also. She is up and dressed and ready all by herself long before the other two. She has her own special style too. She is a truly unique child and I think she would love this book. It's right up her alley.

carroll - this is awesome! we JUST checked this book out from the library and lillie's been having so much fun with it! we left it at gramma and grampa's house this past weekend, because my mom's a librarian and i want her to get a copy for her library! so, we have to wait til xmas to open the book and delve in again. lillie (age 5) has been having a blast with it. she's a secret agent, you know...

My curious kid (my nephew) is 8 years old, going on 18! Due to his abandonment by his mother, he's had a lot of trauma in his little life and he's doing a great job trying to make sense of it all.

He's in the gifted program at his school and makes straight A's. He asks questions about everything. His mind is so sharp, it's kind of scary. He says he might want to be a lawyer because he loves to argue!

I am in the Know and I would love to see this world through the eyes of my curious granddaughter Drea Rain, while I read her this book.

She is 2 and full of questions galore; all why's and how's she wants to explore.

My 8 year old grandson would love to be a secret agent and be in the know! He's such a curious [aka nosy] fellow, he's always into everything, wanting to know the who, what, when, where of most things. So many questions he asks his mother and I that it's hard to keep up with him. I'm always having to say "I don't know" or "we'll have to look it up on the Internet" to him! And his 6 year old brother isn't far behind him. They both have such inquiring minds that they want to be in the know!

my youngest is the curious one in our home....he loves to read all about the behind the scenes stories, legends and lore of things! he would love this book and I imagine I'd find him under the covers reading it by flashlight, more times than not! LOL

we woud love to have this book, my kids are interested in all of this kind of stuff. My daughter is 6 and my son is 10. they both love to read, very much. this would definatley keep their interest!
