Texas lottery won't pay cheated winner An attorney for a man who lost out on a $1 million jackpot says the Texas Lottery Commission still considers the store clerk who allegedly stole the ticket to be the winner.
I am from Texas and I read that many clerks do that. There was even a customer who was behind a winner of a scratch off ticket. It was worth hundreds and the girl snatched it and took off! Amazing. I think they will find the clerk and boy will he be in big trouble.
My mom just told me about the story the other day. It's sad that someone would steal like that and there is more than likely nothing the gentleman can do any thing about it. I feel for the guy who got ripped off. From what my mom said the clerk fled the country. I haven't read the story so I don't know if that is true or not.
