I know some of you are saying, come on Carol, get over the bluebirds, enough already... but I can't.
Just move along if you don't care to share in my joy. :)
I noticed a lot of activity at the bb house a few minutes ago, so I had to go take a peek.. yep, another egg. Now we have four.

I said I wasn't going to take you all step by step like I did the last time, but maybe I just cannot help myself. This is all just too cool not to share.
Also, these two bb's look like smaller ones, I think I have a different set of parents this time.
Thank goodness I have the "sparrow spook" on the house. Hopefully the sparrows will stay away this time.

The sparrows' eyesight is not that great, this "spook" is suppose to keep them away. So far so good. The funny thing is the bluebirds don't mind it. It's like whatever I do is OK with them. They just appreciate the help.

Wow......incredible, just incredible!!!!!! Those bluebird eggs are soooo beautiful, Carol! I love to read all your wonderful news about them..........more of God's wonderful creations, eh?!!!! We've started getting an increasing number of Bluejays and Cardinals in our front yard.......they are just so beautiful, amazing, and so much fun to watch! I absolutely love nature! I love your gorgeous photos, as well!
Thank you Nora. Good to see you. I don't have any mature trees yet so I have no cardinals or jays. Maybe one day. I love the red cardinal. Thanks for visiting.
I think it's great. You just keep on taking photos and posting. It's not something all of us are allowed to view in real life.
You are too kind Katie. Thank you. I know I am blessed, and I give all the thanks to my son. I know he has a hand in this. I just know it.
How big are the eggs?
About the size of a quarter.
more babies!!!! keep us posted. :)
okee dokee. ;)
Thanks - I think it's great fun to watch!
I would be proud of them it may never be enough to have all positivity in the gatherland of ours
Thanks Steph.
That's so neat Carol, I still have the Mama Dove but no sign of eggs or anything. She just keeps sitting in the nest..strange.....
Hmmm, don't know much about doves, except I love their sound, so calming.
Carol, I can never get enough of love and this is what you are loving doing right now, and I am loving watching!!!
too cool!!!!
Thank you Barb.
I'm glad you have not lost interest, Carol. You're building quite a bond with the bluebirds.
Yes I am John. I can't see myself losing interest. These are beautiful little creatures.
That's great. Nesting season is over in the South.
I am in TN, so far it's still going on here.
Nesting season for the bluebirds in the South continues thru the end of August or so, Marianne. The bluebirds can have as many as 3 broods of babies in the spring/summer in the South. My daughter currently has the third round of building going on by a bluebird pair.
Carol, I am amazed at how these acts of nature have come into your life. Thank you so much for having led me to this article. I am thrilled for you, my friend.
Thanks for the visit Barbra. I beleive Dustin has a hand in this, as well as the butterflies. They are bringing me way too much joy for him not to be a part of it.
I'm so happy you have eggs again.
Thank you so much Elaine...me too.
I'm just catching up here and I'm so glad to see you have more eggs to watch and share the progress on. I can't wait to see how these come along.
Thanks so much for sharing with my group.
Watching the bluebirds is so much fun, isn't it Carol? After the first round of bluebirds fledged in the early summer, I went to clean out the birdhouse and found two eggs. This pair had started laying the eggs very early in the Spring and the weather turned cold (near freezing) before she started sitting on them, so apparently those two froze.
I never imagined I would have bluebirds. The day after the first house was put up, a pair of bluebirds called it home. Just amazing. These birds are beautiful and they also need our help. I have had a run of sparrow nightmares, I guess it is just part of it. I wanted to give up when I found the first two babies dead, but I am hooked.
Thanks for posting to *My Bird Shots*!
What a treasure! I hope they are all well when they hatch.
