Some photos from our trip to the lake this past weekend. We were looking for the perfect place to take our little boat out on its maiden voyage.

He looks pretty happy, I think he found the perfect spot!

Safety first.

There is even a sandy beach for the landlubbers!

And a playground for the kiddies.

Ya'll come back now, ya hear?

I miss North Carolina.
I'll be down there in a few weeks, I'm looking forward to seeing sunshine, sand and even the pine trees.
I'm really going for the Waffle House though, Hashbrowns: scattered, diced, chunked, smothered and coverd.
Oh Yeah...
Kerry, so you love their Hashbrowns huh? We used to have the best hashbrowns at a little place right around the corner called "The Ham and Egger" someone bought it and changed the name to "Oak City Diner" and then a few years letter it shut down because they couldn't afford to build on to add a handicapped bathroom (new regulations). I miss their hashbrowns and I also miss their link sausage and their sausage and gravy biscuits! Dang, I think I just gained 5 lbs just typing those out! lol
Thanks Phil, no we didn't fish that day. John was on call so there was no point in putting the boat in, you know the minute we did that his pager would have gone off! We were looking to see where we could easily get the boat in the water and not have to deal with people with the big boats/gas engines.
We need to be doing the same thing as you but what the heck, we rarely get to play. Its going to be in the 70's all weekend here, yay!
Just keep thinking, "It's going to a good cause."
Lera, don't get me started. ;-)
i do and you're still missing. pffft.
I'll try to do better. :)
