I'd like to talk to you about hamsters.
Hamsters are very small. Hamsters like to eat hamster pellets and grapes.They are soft and they like to hide in pockets, and play in hamster shavings. I did not know where hamsters came from so Grandma and I looked up hamster facts. In 1930 a zooloogist found one mama and twelve babies in the Syrian desert north of Israel. Today hamsters like to play in their hamster wheels for fun. In the desert they did not have hamster wheels, and it was hot. All they had to play in was the sand. I think hamsters are really cute and snuggly. I would like to have one.

Although I like small pets, I have never had a hamster. I don't know anything about them but I do think they are cute.

You are just so full of information...I am pleased that you like writing. Your Gram is a great writer too. And I heard you are reading quite well.
Wouldn't it be fun to travel to Syria (have Gram show you Syria on a map) and go with Tonia and Gram looking for hamsters. Tonia could take her camera and then you could see them in their natural setting.
I do so hope at sometime you could get your own hamster. They are loads of fun. My boys had them when they were small as well as a beautiful white rat named Serena.
