Happy 1st Year Anniversary Ernie, Proud Owner of PPOW and POW

It seems that our mentor Ernie

has a day today worth mentioning

It is his one year Anniversary

on Gather, I am feeling sentimental

 

He has made this place so entertaining

Giving us words to use ,

Have to mention here, sometimes

those we do abuse

 

But it is in the spirit of the game

of POW and PPOW,

To write and use keywords

taking liberties, I'm insane

 

But for you dear Ernie on your day

The Anniversary of your year

I only have written this to say

You have brought me so much cheer

 

I wait each week for the new keyword

and then I try to write

sometimes I have to search for rhymes

I do this late at night

 

Our efforts are all put forth

For your very careful screening

and when sometimes I win ,

pinch myself, I must be dreaming

 

For all the members of your team

are all such talented writers

They make an effort for you, Ernie

you have made us all nail biters
