Today's treat is Vampire cupcakes. They are really easy to make. They look quite goofy but my kids really enjoyed them.

You will need:
Cake mix to make cupcakes and all needed ingrediants
White Frosting
Food Coloring
Candy Corn (you can use orange but I used special edition candy corn so that it looked like the vampire had been sucking up some blood, you can probaby find this candy corn at your local grocery store)
Dec A Cake Black Icing Gel
Small round candies for the eyes (I used special edition M&M's but any would work)
Chocolate Sprinkles
After your cupcakes are baked and cooled off, mix your dye. You can dye it whatever color you want your vampire to be. For mine, I opted for green.
Frost your cupcake and then sprinkle the chocolate sprinkles at the top of the cupcake so it can be the vampire's hair. Next, take your M&M's and place them M side down. Now use your Dec A Cake black icing gel to put dots or slits on your vampire's eyes. Draw a nose and a mouth. It's up to you if you want to draw an open mouth or just a line for the month. The last step is to add your "fangs" at each side of the mouth. Before I added the fangs, I cut off the very end of the candy corn because it wasn't a "vampire" color. Now you have yourself one goofy & fun vampire cupcake.

You can also buy vampire fangs from the Halloween candy section and put them on top of your cupcakes with little effort. I didn't really like the end result that much but my kids did.
