Went to the SPCA to day! Now I know why they have such a LOW adoption rate! They FORCE there believes on to others! And I saw 2 was Siamese mix kittens that looked Soooo cute! But since they are at the spca I won't be getting them. As when I do get me another Siamese, the Siamese WON'T be neutered!

Them FORCING the animals to be neutered. I wonder how they would LOVE to be FORCED to be neutered them selves? That way There is No Chance that they could ever give birth!

I think you will find all shelters are that way...the animals are spayed or neutered before adoption
it's like the stupid rule of the gal that owns the house I am living in...not only does the cat I get have to be spayed or neutered, but also declawed, or I can't have one...and ONE is all I can have.

If I owned a house & rented out space in it, I would CERTAINLY require anyone with a cat to have it spayed/neutered. An un-neutered male cat will spray all over the house and want to roam outside to impregnate stray females. An un-spayed female cat will repeatedly go into heat for long periods of time & yowl, etc. Why would anyone want to deal with that, or make the cats go through that? Unless of course you were HAPPY to let them breed, which would make you irresponsible in a whole different way! :o

For one I want a Siamese cat like the one that I had before. One that the God's ( & Goddess's) brought into this world, un-spayed! As for renting from you per-say, I would not rent but keep looking. Also I would also breed and sell the Siamese cat's!

yeah, well....I moved in with my boyfriend...to his sister's basement. I'm not happy, but know it will be a long time before we get to move out somewhere else.
We eat up the attention of the cat's at my mom's house every time we go over there.

It is healthier for pets to be spayed or neutered and it helps to prevent many problems like spraying in male cats and roaming or aggression in male dogs. It also prevents the births of thousands and thousands of kittens and puppies that have no homes waiting for them and that aren't able to find homes. Male cats that aren't neutered have a real strong smell to their urine that isn't pleasant in the house, especially if they spray on walls and furniture.

It is much healthier for the animals to be neutered or spayed before buying or adopting these days. It prevents "accidents" and lowers the population. Male cats are disgusting as they spray their "scent" all over the place and it smells horrible. The smell is impossible to get rid of. I think it is a great practice.

There is a difference between people and animals. People have offspring and they are responsible for caring for them and supporting them until they can care for and support themselves. Animals have offspring and wean them at about 6 weeks of age and no longer care for or support them. Humans have to step in and care for the animals or they will become sick and die or will starve or will be killed by cars or other animals, or they will end up being put to sleep in a shelter or pound. There is no comparison between people and animals when it comes to limiting reproduction. People can choose to use birth control. Animals can't choose birth control on their own.

After having seen about 10 animals in my life who were wandering the streets, starving, infested with fleas, and freezing or soaking wet, I totally understand why they require the pets to be neutered before putting them into new homes. After all, most of them were in other homes and/or born to cats and dogs who got pregnant without families who wanted more animals. On the other hand, I think we ought to neuter child molesters and folks who have their kids taken away because of child abuse.

Many humans do have their tubes tied, and have vasectamies for the soul purpose of limiting their reproduction, for various reasons. One being that they cannot handle raising children, or more children, physically, and/or financially.
