My neighbors and my best friend

I have the nicest neighbors, but my best friend next door has been replaced by the town's chief of police. He's nice enough, but he's not my best friend. I miss her and her kids terribly. All the neighbors are nice and friendly, but they're not she. She is depressed and misses me, too, so I can't tell her how much I miss her. I have told her but it makes her more depressed so I'll tell you. I was a grandmother figure to her boys, and now, they're gone, too. Even my dog is depressed wtihout them. Thanks for listening.

Several years ago my neighbor and her son where killed by a driver driving the wrong way on the freeway. I still miss them terribly

My best friend and neighbor died of a massive heart attack when she was only 50. I still miss her alot. Her husband still lives there and he is like a brother to us. I love to cook and I always invite him over or have plenty left for him for later on.

That is so cool that you had such a great friend and neighbor....I'm sorry she's having such a hard time adjusting to her new place...I hope you stay good friends, life is hard enough without having to try to find replacement!
