CT Trolley Museum

Yesterday afternoon I decided to get out for a bit.   The weather was perfect for exploring.  I took a ride to the Connecticut Trolley Museum in East Windsor, CT.

The cost to get into the museum is $8.00 for adults and includes the CT Fire Museum and trolley rides.   I found $1.00 off coupons on the website - bonus!

My first stop included a room with 5 restored trolleys.  I was able to go inside three of them.  

I walked around the grounds a bit before going to the CT Fire Museum.

Off to the Fire Museum I went.

 I think this is the fire engine on the North Pole.  It looks a lot like Santa's sleigh.

 

Then it was time for the trolley ride.  This trolley is from Rio. 

Here are a couple of pictures I took on the ride.

I am trying to decide which local attraction to visit next weekend.  Just doing my part to help the local economy.

I have been to this museum several times with my children and grand children. It is really a trip worth taking.
