King's Guard Museum

One of the places I enjoyed visiting while in Hawaii was a cute little shopping plaza called King's Village.  It was a couple of blocks from my hotel.   The plaza contained little shops, a couple of restaurants and the King's Guard Museum.  The museum contained a collection of Hawaiian souveniers and collectibles.  Best of all - it was free.

Here a few pictures I took while visiting the museum.

JoAnn, for us the museums were the best part of living in Hawaii. We would spend entire Saturdays staring at what we could see and we never ran out of new pictures and statues. It was awesome. And they were free. Here, you pay an arm and a leg. In Hawaii, not so. There was one in particular that was open air to a point. We loved it. Saturdays and Sundays were often museum and used book store days. I wish we could do that again.

Great photos. I like the fact that you're posting so many out-of-the-way photos of things that the average tourist probably misses, like this museum. Most people would just post the beach pictures and be done with it. If I ever get to go, I'll know what I want to see!

I don't know a lot about Hawaii, so a visit to a museum there would be a unique experience.
