My first Gather payment! YAY!

I redeemed my points on the 27th (3 days ago) for a $25 Paypal payment, and today I got this email:

Gather has deposited cash into your PayPal® Account
Note:Dear Valuable Gather Member,

Gather has just deposited your Paypal request into your PayPal® account.

It will take 3-4 days for your money to become available, and an additional 3-4 days to deposit it into a bank account.

For questions about this transaction, please contact dkey@gatherinc.com for assistance.

That was super fast! My Paypal account is already showing that the money is there, but in the email it says it wont be available to use for 3-4 days. Can anyone who already gets Paypal payments explain that to me? I don't want to try to use it and mess everything up lol.

if the money is showing in your Paypal account then it's there to use! If you transfer those funds to your checking account that takes an additional 3 - 4 days!

They are fast with the PayPal. Much quicker than the cards, but I still love the Starbucks and Border's cards. If you don't have the debit card from PayPal, GET IT!!!!

Congrats Jessica...I recommend you get the Paypal debit/credit card if they approve you. That way you can just get cash back at a grocery store, rather than wait 3-4 business days for Paypal to transfer $ to your bank account.

Congratulations. I second what everyone already said about the Paypal debit card, it makes it so much easier to not have to wait the extra days to transfer to your checking account.

thanks everyone =) i saw something about the paypal debit card, but im not sure if ill get it or not. if i transfer the money to my checking account ill spend it faster so i like to just let it add up in my paypal, then if i want to get something on ebay, which is usually just coupons for me lol, i dont have to spend marks money on it =)
