My first gift card from Gather: Two Questions

I haven't ordered the Omaha. It has taken 2 weeks to 6 weeks for mine to come. I guess it just depends.

Nope, I've never ordered from Omaha, so sorry, I can't help you there, but it definitely depends how long it takes to get the gift card. Whenever I order gift cards it has only ever taken 2 weeks max to receive it and it usually arrives within a week, but it really depends.

I have not got to send away for my gift cards yet I am 150 points away from my first Card Ever. I am saving for a home Depot gift card. I would like to know about the Omaha meats also. I wonder if they are good or not, I have been looking at them also. My sister got her Home Depot gift card with in two weeks she said. She is on her second Home Depot gift card so far. I love talking on gather and I love getting the points for talking to gather friends.

I just got my first gift card from Home Depot and it took about 3 weeks to get it. It was like Christmas getting something in the mail that didn't cost me anything but time on the computer....and I like doing that....Never got one from Omaha Steaks though. Let me know.....I only have about 50 points to go to get my second card. This can actually be fun.

You should expect to receive your Gather Points order within 21 days. If you haven't received your order within that time period, please contact support@gather.com.

My first gather redemptions took no time at all, In fact one I got after only 6 days! I haven't ordered from Omaha Steaks though so I can't help you there.

I think that the timeframe will vary depending upon a variety of factors, but generally I have heard of members receiving cards within 5 to 15 days. In some cases it may take longer.

Here are a few notes regarding the Omaha Gift Cards:

1) Check the expiration date on the card. Some members have reported receiving cards that expire soon, or that have already expired. In this case, contact Gather and they will fix the problem for you by having the expiration date extended (I think you have 1 year).

2) Check the Omaha Steaks website regularly for special offers. You CAN take advantage of any offer, although you will be ordering through a company other than Omaha Steaks. Many members have reported getting great deals on Omaha products by combining offers and using gift cards.

I've not gotten gift cards for a while now, but I believe they didn't take long to receive at all - maybe 2 weeks max most of the time. :) Congrats. :)

I have heard from those that ordered Omaha GC that it has an expiration date on it.

I haven't ordered fronm omaha steaks.

I have never ordered omaha steaks and I am on the cash option so sorry I could not be of more help but it looks like you got lots of help from the above posts! Take care and enjoy!

I've ordered from Omaha steaks for gifts and I've received them as a gift. They are very expensive. I watch for one of their specials when you can get a package half price. The food is delicious and you won't be disappointed. Even the hotdogs were fantastic.

BTW, Omaha steaks was pretty quick about delivery.

Gather sends out their gc rather quickly....I haven't ordered from Omaha before, so let me know how it goes.

I'm shooting for Borders with mine when I get there...I'm over 500 points. I plan on pyramiding that with Borders Bucks or whatever it's called from eRewards and a Borders gift card from MyPoints (which is close). I will corner the market on Borders gift cards then my master plan of evil begins to kick in....

Wait! You can't have a Borders monopoly! That would just be cruel:)
