Who are you, to have captured my heart
that I thought protected from the start?
What have you done to totally sway
my fear and loneliness away?
How did you know the right things to do
that I would be so open to you?
How did you get past the pain deep inside,
things I have always tried to hide?
And yet, you have shown no disgust or rejection
to find out all my darkest deceptions.
