Do you have to be the main cook on Thanksgiving, but wish you weren't?
Do you have a crabby old aunt you would just love to send into fits of apoplexy?
Do you enjoy aggravating your loved ones just for the hell of it?
Do you really not care what the family, or in-laws think of you?
Are you wishing someone else would cook NEXT year?
If you answered "yes" to any of these, then you have to make your turkey MY WAY.
Merely cut templates from aluminum foil, secure with toothpicks, and place strategically on your bird when you put him in the oven.
You may never be asked to cook Thanksgiving dinner again.

LOL I like this!
I hadn't thought of that. Hmmm....
Richard,
Darlin', you would be asked to cook regardless of what the bird looks like.
Now THAT sounds like something to give thanks for .
Actually, We are going to my son's this year, and he is making ham because he doesn't like turkey. I am preparing a turkey breast and stuffing for Bill and I the day after...It just isn't Thanksgiving without turkey leftovers.
Donna,
I think I might have to ponder a bit on that and get back to ya..lol
I don't even know if I'm going anywhere for Thankgiving let alone spending it with family.
I know somebody that would absolutely get a kick out of this.
MJ,
Sounds interesting. Although I don't like mayo, I DO like potato chips on a bolongna sandwich, when I'm forced to eat bologna...lol
I'm not too upset. I just think its childish to flag without explanation.
Maybe someone took offense at a naked turkey. Turkey porn, anyone?
Maybe because I used the word (gasp!) "hell" ?
Perhaps someone saw themselves in the "Crabby old aunt"?
Maybe someone didn't get any yesterday? or last year?
A 10 to make up for your flag.

Anywho, I like your concept of not cooking anymore.
My family usually has dinner at someone else's house.
This year, as well as last year, we're having Thanksgiving dinner at my parents home.
Then, we're going to my in-laws house.
Free food! Yippee!
make sure you wave when you pass my house....lol
Erica,
Damn, Now why didn't I think of that?
Angela,
We're going to my Son's, but I have to take about half the meal...lol He is doing ham, I'm doing bird, and also taking a broccoli rice casserole, rolls and dessert. Not getting out of much am I? Not to mention the three hour drive.
Sharon,
I couldn't agree more. Someone certainly got a knot in their Fruit of the Loom's, huh?
Rest easy
I just got an email from MaryAnne Flynn who stated that someone flagged it because they thought I had lifted the image from THEIR post, which used it as well. I guess if I were the vindictive sort, I could try to find their piece and flag it for lifting the image from my post from last year which also uses the image.
I have seen this turkey many, many times even in our local newspaper once...I still find it silly and funny not to mention cute....now if only I had the guts to do that to mine and not have my wicked MIL stomp out and ruin it for everyone, once I unvailed "her".....LOL.
Hey! Maybe it was her?! NOT. She doesn't GATHER anything but flies....LOL.
All the more reason to do it!!
Love this! Saw it last year and loved it then too. Why someone would flag it is beyond me! It's just cute!!!!
