Sheesh, some people will complain about anything! Give them something and all they'll do is gripe that it wasn't what they wanted. Well, I'm not going to bite the hand that feeds me! I never see anything about promotions until it is to late. How are we to know what it is. That is the big question. Especially since I dont do much but talk to my freinds on gather. If it is another upgrade. Oh goodness.

Maybe it will be another lame novel contest, but this time the winner will win the great opportunity to be self-published. HA! Or, the presentation of a trophy for the most number of comments on such superb writing, such as how many words can you make from, "pineapple." Or...just maybe it will be about the screen space being even further reduced so that flashing ads for graham crackers, and billboard size ads for "Depends," are introduced with realistic peeing sounds.

Considering that the site has recently experienced a significant update, chances are fairly good that there will be a promotion involving inviting new members to Gather...or the use of the new/improved functionality.
