I hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day! I know that I did because i got to spend it with both of my children!
On Saturday, my hubby asked me what I wanted for Mother's Day. I told him that I wanted to sleep in, thinking to myself that if I got to sleep until 9:00 AM that I would be doing good! LOL! When I woke up, I was shocked to see that it was already 11:00 AM!

When I came out of the bedroom, both kids yelled... HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY MOM!!!!! It was so cute and very sweet! On their chalk board my son had written... I LOVE YOU MOM!!! To me, those little things mean the most and are better than any gift I could get!

My hubby had taken the kids to the grocery store, every year they let kids decorate a cake, pick out a carnation, a card and then a polaroid photo of the kids with their decorated cakes! They have done this for me every year on Mother's Day.

My son had also made me a few special gifts at school! He's in first grade and I love the crafts they bring home for all the different holidays. For Mother's Day I got a beautiful bouquet of heart flowers on a paper plate and a cute flower magnet with his picture inside!

We spent a quiet day at home, just the four of us! I did talk to my mom on the phone but that was the only phone call in or out on Mother's Day. It's nice to have those quiet and lazy days every so often! It was rainy and dreary here but it was still a very special day with my family!
Hubby even made breakfast, lunch and dinner. Plus gave the kids their bath for me! I didn't have to do a single thing all day, it was very relaxing! Something that doesn't happen very often being a stay at home mom!
