Some time ago I shared with fellow Gatherers that I had been asked to be the subject of an interview and to have an excerpt of my play LUMPs (which deals with issues related to breast cancer) published in the on-line journal http://www.wordgathering.com/.  It came out today!  

 

There are some excellent poems and essays included in this on-line journal.  I hope you are able to take some time and read through the offferings.  (One of my poems is in the December 2007 issue.)

Kylee, it's just a part of the whole. Monday I was able to watch 12 residents at an assisted living home read the script. It was another magical time thanks to LUMPs.

Congratulations Trish! I read the interview and loved it. I especially enjoyed how you describe your characters and their development. I have bookmarked the site and will read the excerpt from Lumps as soon as I have some time to properly devote to it.

Thanks, Trish, I went and checked it out. I was so glad to get the chance to read the excerpt. I wish I had the ability to get it presented here, I would love to see it, even be a part of the production.
