Update : Dogs running at large killed my cat

My teenager and I went to animal control...they claim they have picked up both dogs..by time I got there..They showed us a dog we know was not one of them that killed my cat....they had it listed as a pick up. and it was way to small to be the same dog. But then I told the lady there was two dogs ..and they couldn't find the other one..But showed us one dog in the vicious dog area that is being put down later today.... My son thought it was him but wasn't positive..so my husband is going after he gets off of work..to see if we can make a positive id and see if these idiots can show us the right dogs. I told them they were owner surrender. That is when they showed us the second dog. So animal control was still no help.

Hopefully they will find the dogs that are to blame for the attack. In the meantime I pray that they don't get loose again.

Sorry that the animal control is being no help.

Around here, the local news gets involved and the culprits are "hounded" down. Then they run the story forthe next few days. Maybe they are just really hungry for news??

I am so sorry to hear about your beloved cat. I feel bad for dogs because they don't know any better, they should shoot the owners in my opinion. But we all know the dogs will suffer for this. I hope it doesn't happen to anyone elses pets.

I am so sorry about the loss of your cat. We have stray dogs in my neighborhood. But we also have stray cats and they have learned to live in harmony.
