Morning Journal 12/11/08

I tried to do a journal entry last night, hit post, and everything disappeared. So I gave up and went to bed.

I was home yesterday. I have a cold, but I feel like I turned a corner. If I take my vitamins, and drink my juice I should be able to come out of this thing victorious within a few days. Today is payday, so I am buying the good Kleenex-- the stuff with lotion for my desk. I'll also get some cold medicine, and then I should be functional at work.

I'm supposed to have a new computer when I get in today. So that is really exciting. I have been with my company for 3 years, and my computer was already several years old when I got there. It wasn't taking the required updates anymore. Wouldn't load the programs I needed to do my job correctly.

I paid my phone bill, which was high because I had added my daughter to the family cell phone plan, so I had the one time charge added on there.

My tree is up, but no lights or decorations yet. My son has his choir concert tonight at the community college. So that will be fun. But now, I have to get ready for work.
