Got my new camera!

Yayhoo! I went out yesterday and purchased a Nikon D40x SLR, along with a couple lenses. I've been playing with it (of course) so here are a few snapshots I've taken.

Well you certainly can't do any better images for internet viewing, from before, so this improved camera must be for making HUGE gorgoues prints on photo paper?

That is a great camera keep playing with it. It not the camera that makes the pictures but the person behind the camera. The camera is just a box with a hole in it. See my artical on cameras.

Very nice. I bought an Olympus Evolt 500 this year and am now adding accessories. I bought a Sigma 50-200mm lens(zuiko is the Olumpus preferred brand, but is much more expensive than Sigma), besides the 14-45 mm lens that came with the camera. I also won a tri-pod at a raffle and now want to get some filters to help along with the experience!

Your pictures are wonderful!! Now, I'm not that savy on types of cameras- this isn't a point and shoot, is it?

My aunt got a Canon Rebel recently, and I have a rather nice Kodak point & shoot, but I really wnat to get the other type (can't recall what theya recalled... I'm just ditzy today).

I love Loerelai's picture, she's so adorable!
