Before and After: spider!

This spider is outside my house, right by my truck and I HATE spiders, so getting close to them to get these pictures was an accomplishment of its own, ha! 

At first I was only able to get this close, but wasn't happy with how the photo turned out:

I fiddled with the contrast and exposure of the photo on my computer and came up with this, which I think turned out kind of neat:

The pictures are really good, but I don't like them either. My daughter hated spiders, and actually took a spider class in college...now, she likes them.

I don't mind little spiders like these; it's the big ones that freak me out. But I applaud you for having the patience to take pictures of them. It takes a certain kind of individual to do that.

Those are great shots. I love spiders, too. I won't kill them if I can help it. They keep the bugs away! Plus, they are more scared of you than you are of them! Heck I will even play with them if I can. (Not the poisonous ones though.)

Did you know that the most poisonous spider in the world is the Daddy Long Legs, but he can't hurt you? His fangs are not big enough to pierce our skin. I just love playing with them.

I'd also love to have one of those dinner plate sized tarantulas from South America aa a pet! LOL

Way cool, your camera did a great job on the close ups! You can see his little furry legs.......Since I am not a big spider fan either am proud of you. Although outside they aren't so bad, I freak if they are inside. What if they are in my bed.......or towel......or clothes.......or.......
