Our 1st weekly Video Challenge will be...

                                   " WILD THINGS " 

Thanks for all the Video Challenge votes. We had 23 total votes on our theme choosing article and our final count was:

1st place: 'Wild Things' with 13 votes
'Dreams' had 5 votes and tied 'Vacation' with 5 votes


Here are the rules:

  • Every week (or so) I'll post an article with a few themes to choose from.
  • Once we vote on that theme, anyone who wants to participate will post a video or slideshow showing off that theme.

  • You'll have one (1) week to shoot, create and post your masterpiece.

  • There's no time restraints on the video.

  • It doesn't matter if it's plain and simple or completely elaborate.

  • Make sure your video or slide show fits the theme for the week.

  • Have fun!


Just remember that this group is moderated so this means that your submission won't automatically show up at the group until I approve it.

The only prizes would be bragging rights, but if you would like this added to the group, then the judges would be my 2 oldest boys. Xenon is my oldest and will be 11 in January and Alex is my middle son, age 6 1/2. They would LOVE to watch all the
videos and would have a really fun time picking their favorites.

SO... we have officially chosen our very 1st Video Challenge theme and I'll start accepting submissions to the group NOW. 
 
I'll accept videos and slideshows with the "WILD THINGS" theme through Monday the 22nd. We'll vote again for our next theme on Sunday, and the next week's theme will be chosen and posted on Monday the 22nd. HAVE FUN and I can't wait to see what you'll be sending in!

Hmm sounds interesting. I assume wild things is open for interpretation by us all? Meaning anything WE consider wild fits?

As for the winners thing I don't really care one way or the other on that. I'm just here for fun... and to see if there's anything that I can come up with, lol.

Jennifer - yes, you've got it. It's open to interpretation! Whatever YOU think is wild will work just fine. For example in MY world... my kids are considered wild things, LOL.

Gregory - "wild things" is definitely open to interpretation... it's whatever YOU consider 'wild'. For me, it would be my crazy kids or wild designs and shapes, wild colors, wild ideas, maybe a trip to the zoo, some wild cats... you know, things like that. To other people, wild might be a trip to the carnival or some wild outfit they saw on someone while shopping or a wild ride they went on when their brother was driving. As long as you're not violating Gather's Terms of Service when you're posting videos or slide shows, I'll take it!
