These are just a few pictures of back stage pictures taken Sunday for the Summer Of Love Concert in Monterey,Ca. Two day concert. Sat-Sunday.

We were VIP's ticket holders so we could go back stage to talk or dance and have fun hanging out.

We took loads of pictures.

When i get the time I have over 1000 pics'. I will do a article of the line up for both days.

Oh you lucky! I was hoping to go but I had band practice during the day on Saturday and had to help out a daughter on Sunday. SO much stuf going on last wknd. San Jose gran Prix, Gilroy Garlic Fest. Summer of Love. And I didn't end up doing any of it!

How were Riders on the Storm? Have you seen the Doors trib band Wild Child? They're from LA but they play up here quite a bit. I've seen them in Felton and at Discovery Meadows at the Greg Kihn concert. You would swear the singer is Mr Mojo risin

thank you charles and tina. there will be more to come. loads. I hope I don't bore anyone. it is a sad time in which we live in, this concert has a lot of meaning behind it, remains after 40 years. great history and stories and great people and music. There is still a lot of hippies and folks that love music. this concert was more than just another concert. this has gone down in history , wonderful people,talented. they live forever though there music, stories, the people for which they stood for. a strong message. this is not a Jazz fest-
It is the Summer of love concert. For those who don't know the fact of 40 years ago, I hope I will be able to write a article to clear it up. It is the 40th anniversary to the summer of love.
