Gather Writing Suffering

I came to Gather to write and share ideas. For the first month, it never entered my mind to post an image and I rarely commented on them either. I was here to express myself with words. Then, I posted one or two so I would have a choice for icon when I tired of the first one and I enjoyed doing it so I decided I would post a few every week or so just for fun. Suddenly, the image points promotion came along and I went nuts. I forgot that there was even such a thing as articles on Gather and I began posting and commenting on images like a mad woman in a race for her life. LOL... I realized that I was not writing or commenting on many articles and that my writing would suffer....so, today I have decided to try something and that is a 50/50 plan....I need to work equally as long on writing as I do on images and that includes commenting. After all, I don't want to lose focus on why I came to Gather altogether even thought the 10 points are nice and all, that isn't what Gather is really about for me....so, we shall see if my new plan works and if all else fails, I will at least know that on July 9th, my madness will simmer down some.
