Name One Good Thing about America
I have to admit, I’m against the administration and against the war. I make no pretense about those facts and I’m also one of the biggest liberals on the block. I did six years in the Army got an honorable discharge. I work everyday, pay my taxes and try to conduct myself as a law abiding citizen of the United States. All this is despite the fact that my step-father, a good man won the Bronze Star in WWII in the Pacific and couldn’t vote in his home because of the color of his skin. I still view America as a land of opportunity where anything can happen.
I’m asking that you take the time and list at least one good thing about the United States.

Public Education
Great things about America - there are so many to choose from. Here are a few quick ones:
- The Constitution - particularly the Preamble.
- The Gettysburg Address
- Elections even in the middle of wars
- Our beautiful land
- The fact that we are the world's melting pot
- The freedom to allow ordinary people to do extraordinary things
The fourteenth amendment.
The nineteenth amendment.
A couple of more kudos for America (to go along with so many other great ones above):
- The ability to have 50 different states try different things to see what works and what doesn't
- Having the greatest military in the world - in addition, it is made up solely of volunteers
- We've produced more things than any country in the world
- We've fed more people than any country in the world (ourselves and countless others)
- We've aided more people than any other country
- We defend not only ourselves but so many others through our military ability
- When disaster strikes anywhere in the globe - we are there helping out
Good timimg, Brian!
