Someone broke into your house but didn't steal anything?!
This actually happened. It was about a week after 9/11 and I came in and found several things in the kitchen were not where I left them. I discovered that someone had opened one of the kitchen windows and had gotten in. I had the window locked from the inside, but that was easy to get through. Whoever it was wandered around my place and I couldn't find anything that was stolen, except for something I'm not sure I even had. I could swear I had a CD of the Allman Brothers Eat a Peach but couldn't recall if I'd had it and it was taken, or I just thought I had it. I couldn't find any of my Amazon receipts to verify that I'd actually ordered it.

I don't know the person who did it, but there was speculation that it was the same kid who'd been tagging walls around the neighborhood. I heard he was sent back to wherever he came from and after that, most of the problems stopped.
