I was just uploading all of Haley's photos onto the computer and thought it was about time to post another photo essay of her shots. She's really getting good I think. I went through her photos and chose the ones I liked the best for this one, but I'm thinking that next time I'll let her choose and see which ones she wants to share with all of you here on Gather.

Parker and Josie doing what they each like to do best - watching television and gnawing on a rawhide bone.
Next are a few shots from our last nature trail around our property.

Honeysuckle

Crab Apples

Honeysuckle and Pine

Pine Tree

Base of the weird shrub we have growing. Not sure what it is, but it's pretty.
I just loved the perspective of this next shot.

Parker watching 'Blue's Clues'.
Some more shots from our many nature walks.

Honeysuckle (we have a lot of this!)

Strange plant growing alongside our property line. Unsure what it is, but the bees love it!

Goldenrod

The last tree we had that was struck by lightning.
Self-portraits.

The sun through the car window.

Josie needing out to pee.

Next are some nature shots.
Sunsets.

The soybean field behind our house.

Sky, clouds, and jets.

The moon.

The next few shots I just found to be very neat and different.

Haley's shadow.

The ceiling fan and light in our living room.

Me coming into the house. I liked the sun coming in behind me.
I found this next one to be really cute. It's Haley getting down on the ground to try to take a picture of a flower with me. You can see my camera in the back of the photo on the left. Those golden locks just hanging down was adorable I thought, and knowing the she was mimicking me just left me feeling the extreme power and influence of motherhood.

Hope you've enjoyed a little bit of the world as seen through the lens of my four-year-old daughter. More photos later!

I posted some new pictures of Buckethead if you want to take a look.
I really enjoyed this photo essay!
She has already developed quite an eye for beauty. 10
She is only 4! wow ;-)
I love looking at the world through a child's eye.
Thanks for all the comments on Haley's photos. I showed her the photo essay and she was most impressed. She thought some of the shots were mine. LOL A lot of them are similar to mine though because anytime I have my camera clicking away she has hers. All these shots were taken with her Fisher Price camera for any of you who asked and were interested in buying one for your child, etc.
I can't wait to see how her photographer's skill develops as she gets older and better with her camera (and holding her arms steady!). Eventually I'm sure she'll want to become a Gatherer herself and get her own credit for her stuff. ;)
God bless you and yours...
