Cheap Family Fun??

What does your family do that is fun and costs very little? We like to get together for cookouts or sit on the back porch and listen to music in the evening. Sometimes, fun is just watching the grandkids play or inviting everyone over for a rented DVD and some microwave popcorn. We don't have a lot extra and finding fun for little money is necessary. Please, share your ideas with the rest of us and let's all have some family fun!

We like to take the kids to the mall and play in the indoor playground. The kids are happy and I'm happy sipping a latte.

DVD and popcorn... Today though we went to the "cheap theater" and saw a movie. The tickets are 75 cents on Tuesdays..

We go walk around our favorite park - Batsto. It's good exercise, and nice to be in the fresh air. Or when it's not too hot, we go sit in the gazebo in our yard.

We go to our local park a lot and have picnics. Also we go to the library get books to read together.
