I am in Seattle, but want to live in Southern California. My reasons are (I can almost hear you people cringe) my children has family there. Other than that I love the sun, and absolutely need to have a real palm tree in my front yard!!!
Oh yeah! Colorado would be the first choice for me. My sister lies in Fort Collins and we have vacationed throughout the state, people are friendly and laid back, the weather is generally good and the views are to die for!
i live in tennessee....3 sons, indiana, manhattan, san francisco....... my best friend is trying his best to get me to St. Pete, Fla. i like north and south carolina.....gosh.....this is hard for me....oh, and 2 great grand babies in arkansas......tough choice
Aww...just pick one?? LOL--I have lived in NYC all my life...and I see photos of other states..even NY state looks great...but if I had to choose another state it would either be New Hampshire, or Montana...or Alaska--so it's a flip of the coin for me
Somewhere with one of our wonderful major cities. NY, NY or Chicago, IL would be my first choices. Somewhere in northern CA (San Francisco, Sausilito maybe) would be the next.

I wouldn't mind summering in Alaska, Oregon, or even Washington.
I want a peaceful place, stress free.
