So, do you believe that our life is mapped out for us before we are even born? This discussion is one that always interests me because there are things that make me think we have little to no control over our fate and then other times I think that we must have at least some control, but what if that is what it was destined to feel like? It is definitely something to think about and discuss if for no other reason than entertainment. So, let's hear if from some of the smartest people I have NEVER met, what are your thoughts on pre-destination?

Wow... am I more of a Calvinist, or Armenian in my theology? I can believe, that God, being all-knowing (omniscient), could pre-ordain works for me, but predestination is sticky, because if my choices are made before I choose them, then I have no free will. Without free will, sin shouldn't be allowed to exist, because a righteous and just God would not punish us for something that wasn't our fault in the first place. Additionally, if we were predestined, love of God, or love of anyone, for that matter, would be an empty gift. If you have no choice, is it really love? If it's an automatic, expected thing, it has no value.
Predestination robs us of the things that make us, and the gifts we share with others, precious.
My Quotes
By personal experience and observation I think a good part of my life had been predetermined.
It also must be true that you are a part of the choices of others.
If they choose poorly, we have the free will to disconnect from those people and correct our lives, ideally.
When you meet God you must answer for your choices.
I know it's over-simplified but that pretty well sums up my take on it all.
