Free Samples, etc?

I notice many of you post freebies here and I think that is just great. What a nice thing to share your finds with all of us. I have a couple of questions about the freebies though. What do you do with all of them? I mean if they are something you won't use, do you give them away or save them for stocking stuffers, etc or do you skip them if you absolutely know you won't use them? Also, how do you find so many? I rarely see one just surfing the web, so there has to be a secret to it? And finally, do you get most of the ones you order? I ordered some Soyjoy bars quite some time ago and never got them, so I was just wondering if most companies really do send the samples? Thanks for your time and for answering these questions.

There are a lot of freebie sites on the web. Some are great and some are terrible. I only send for the freebies I (or a member of my family) might like. If it turns out out that no one wants it then I'll give it away. Also, there will be times when certain a certain freebie is never sent out. That happens.
I used to keep a log of all the items I completed for a freebie but it got too time consuming.

I tend to send for freebies to fill stockings. This week I'm pleased to have sent for a pair of golf socks. My son-in-law loves golfing so it will be part of his present. I also use some of the samples for when we travel. Why go to the store and by travel size items when you can get them via freebies?

The samples that I will not use I donate to one of the charities in my area. They are always glad to get them.

I send for things I can use or someone in my family can. I got my soyjoy bars last week and have received everything I send for. I usually only send for the ones I find here since searching for them is too time consuming. William finds the most and they are all very good. There are also many others who post excellent ones. I joined the freebie groups and find it to be a great resource.

You can always donate freebies to places that can use them...dog/cat food to shelters or someone with a new puppy/kitten.

I skip the ones that I can't use, for the most part. Although, I do like the idea of donating them to local charities... I might start sending for the baby stuff and give it to our young mothers program.

Most people I know love freebies and i only offer the ones i find the most value in. As the Enlightenment advisor it is my duty to provide healthy, wealthy ways of living. I will save your list and see if any of these companies have an affiliate program which I can implement at my website. Thanks for the stuff !
