Checking my email today, I learned that someone new was following me on Twitter. The person had the same name as one of my friends who has moved away, so I thought it might be her, except that part of her profile name had something in it that I wouldn't have expected from her. Confused, I clicked on the name to go to her profile and see more information about her.
Instead, this page came up:
Sorry, the account you were headed to has been suspended due to strange activity. Mosey along now, nothing to see here.

...or if you're curious as to why an account might be suspended, head over this way for the juicy details.
The juicy details were not forthcoming... that link lead me to a page that said the account was unavailable and may have been suspended.
It's a bit odd, but it is a cute way to tell a member an account isn't working, for whatever reason. Still, I am left wondering... what do they mean by strange activity?
O.o

Good reason for me not to Twitter???
Dunno... I just liked the way they handled their "you have reached a suspended account" page...
I "Tweet" my Gather stuff... not much else to do there.
Ok, I just joined, now you have to tell me how to USE it.
basically, all I do there is type a few descriptive words in the little box at the top, such as the title of whatever article I'm "tweeting", then copy the link from the original page and paste it into the box after whatever I wrote about it. The whole thing has to be less than 140 characters, so the description has to be short, especially if the link isn't.
To check out stuff other people I'm following have "Tweeted" I right-click the blue text that starts with "http:" and open it in another tab.
