"A GLIMPSE INTO MY WORLD 2" (Photo Essay)

I published my first "A Glimpse Into My World" article on April 24th, 2008.  Thought it was time to do part two with my latest 'tour'! With my ankle acting up and going to physical therapy I have not worked outside as much as I would like too and with it getting hotter that could be a "good" thing. (I had a heat stroke in September 2004 and I have to be careful as not to get too hot).  I have managed to take some pictures of some 'things' around my home.  These are the 'things' that alway put a smile on my face, -things that bring pleasure to me and joy in my life!  My hubby has been helping me out a lot lately, - even after working all day he is always eager and willing to help me do things that I normally would do and want to do.   (No one can do it the way I want it, NO ONE but he is a doll and always does what I ask).  These are pictures of 'things' and 'whatever'  that I have taken in past  several days ----

Larry the cat, - I swear this cat is a dog in a cat's body....we actually say he is hubby's 'dog'!


Some type of moth or bug, - if you look closely you can see two eyes, nose and a mouth!
(It almost looks like a 'cat face' to me) LOL

Birds eating away...I can barely keep it full. (See little bird peeking around from back)?


Frog Planter, - hubby gave me this as a b-day gift several years ago and I think it is my
favorite gift ever....I plant something different in it each year.

My lower deck..my favorite place to gather, read and relax when not too hot. (When too
hot I hit the water)!


A new 'sitting area' that I have been working on with some old patio furniture.  I have
some furniture picked out at Home Depot for this area so I need more gift cards!  LOL


Old stump hubby got me to use as a plant stand.


Another relaxing area and in the shade all the time...I read and gather here too.  (A
friend was trashing the old red yard chair so he gave it to me, - after 'sanding out' the
rusted areas, I primed and painted it red).


A very challenging corner of my yard for flowers, - shade in the AM and bright sun in the PM!

This bird was singing to me earlier this week.....


as I watched him fly to and from this nest!

Even the gnome  is tired and wants to rest....just can not find good help these day!

Oh!! I almost forgot, -- can any of my gather friends identify this insect?!?!?!?!?!?!
