Lora when I split up with my first husband I cried nonstop for about 6 months; while doing dishes, while doing laundry,while parenting the kids, while vaccuming, while training the dog in obedience classes, I cried nonstop. But, one day I woke up and there was no more tears, and I got excited about the new life I was creating for my kids and I. It was good after that first six months of grieving and I do not regret letting myself grieve. It just takes time! Let 2008 be great for you
Well, we are staying home as usual. We stopped going out many, many moons ago. Just wasn't worth it and we're happier just being home. Last year our daughter and son-in-law and a few of their friends came over. We had a great time but this year they are all staying home working on their houses. They all bought homes this year. :) So, we'll all be safe and sound.
Don't cry. Make this a positive time for you. Do something special for yourself. Take a nice, hot, relaxing bath complete with bubbles and candles, or go shopping and buy yourself something nice. Be positive, a new year is a new start.
Staying in. I haven't been feeling well and in the last 2 hours I've been in pain in the bathroom 6 times. Looks like more of the same for the rest of the night. Ughhhh.
Other than that I have a lot of catching up to do on Gather and on my emails. I came home to over 6,000 emails in my inbox NOT counting any Gather mails!
Well, I'm sitting here tonight arguing with my husband -- we had a nice dinner (brought home sushi since we can't afford a babysitter and even the sushi was a splurge) and I thought the evening was going fine. He's watching some movie so I figured I could spend some time on the computer only he starts whining that my typing is bothering him - distracting him from his movie. So I switch computers and we argue about whether he was saying I had to move or not -- sigh. There are times when I wonder why I didn't listen to my grandmother and not get married!
I do hope 2008 is a better year for you and that things work out the way you want them to! And for me too :-)

I can not understand your pain but I understand my pain as I am alone and single on New Year's Eve. I am sorry it is so hard for you. Thanks for sharing your pain and I hope the sharing helped some. My goal for 2008 is to do one thing that will improve my mental state. But I do not know what that is yet. But something will come to me. Best 2008 to you.
