How is everybody's Gather working today?

Yesterday I heard lots of screaming about photos being gone.

Most mine were gone, too, but it seems they're back now (as far into the past as I bothered to peek anyway).

Articles and all their comments seem to come down faster.

I have learned that if you can't join a group it's maybe because your personal Gather adult settings and the group's adult settings don't match up and you have to re-set yours to join up with that group.

Anything else I've missed?

I can still erase photos with my cursor so I can't view them :( Im not getting points for some odd reason, and for some odd reason I can't up load photos right now either. its telling me that they are in the wrong format :(( AND they aren't.. Gather I think has a thing against me today or more like the past few days.. But that's OK life does go on :)
On the other hand articles load much quicker, and I don't have to hit the back button 3 times to get back to where I came from.. Once for the rating, once for the comment and once for who knows what! NOW its one click and Im back to where I came from....

clicking the tabs was working yesterday...today it's working but incredibly slow... click tab...go make coffee...and when I get back it MIGHT be loaded

otherwise things seem to be working... so far

In the past, I've had a few JPG photos just end up a page of script. Yikes.

So, now, I use my Photoshop to put them in "save for web" mode (not only jpg, but I think less color gradations) and then I've NEVER had trouble. But not everyone has Photoshop - alas.

I've got a "group invite" icon that has no group listed when I click on it. I can't seem to get rid of it. Other than that it seems okay.

I save my photos as "Save for Web" too, but I think it's not necessary anymore since now we can upload files as big as 6.0 megapixals. I have noticed that the new photos I am posting now seem so much brighter and sharper. So far I really like the new Gather changes.

Some of my photos had disappeared after doing the upgrade but they are back now. I did still have to change my icon to get my picture back on display but everything else seems to be working okay now.
