I'm baaaack! And it's been a decidedly interesting day. To sum up:
As far as the TABE test went, apparently, I scored a perfect score (which is apparently reasonably impressive - honestly, the only thing that took any significant time was the essay part), which means that I shouldn't have a problem getting into the job training program I want. All I have to do now is wait for my case handler's supervisor to sign off on it, which will occur 'next week, or maybe the week after that.' So... progress! (I hope.)
Also, we've returned to the house. We technically have a bathroom. Okay, more precisely, we have a toilet and a shower. The bathroom still doesn't have anything but insulation on the walls and ceiling, and the sink isn't installed yet, but technically we have a bathroom again. Woo! Heh. The upside of this is that we're back on our separate computers, and I can resume working on the various stuff on Gather that I've been neglecting for the past month.
Now to see about catching up on some comments and getting some work done on groups and whatnot. See you in one of your articles soon!

congrats on the test! I hope it continues to mean progress.
Who needs insulation anyway?
