Exactly how clueless does Bush think the American people are? He continues to talk about U.S. citizens as if we were as ignorant and naive as he is. The latest is that we are all suffering from "war fatigue".
No, Mr. Bush. We are suffering from Bush fatigue. We are all tired of:
1) the strategic blunder of your initial occupation of Iraq;
2) the mismanagement of the Iraq and Afghanistan operations from the very start;
3) the billions of dollars that are being poured into the Iraq conflict that could be used to help our own country in countless ways;
4) the cadre of incompetent appointees and hires that you have brought into our government based on their religious and political ideologies rather than their experience and competence;
5) the secrecy and lawlessness with which you have denegrated our Constitution and our personal rights;
6) the blind preference you have shown to short-term corporate interests over the long-term interests of the people of this country;
7) the way you have dragged the standing of the U.S. through the mud in the rest of the world's eyes;
8) the mismanagement and callous disregard for our own population's needs, especially in the face of tragedies such as Katrina; and, most of all,
9) your manipulation of this country's true concerns for each other as Americans by continuing to divide this country with statements and contrived phrases that are simply NOT TRUE.
I, for one, Mr. Bush, am counting the days, ney hours, until you are removed from your self-appointed pedestal and this country can begin to regain its pride and integrity here and in the rest of the world.

Sorry . . . but felt the piece should be fair and balanced so included a generic sample of the ubiquitous rantings from the other side. I think I pretty much did them justice.
My personal opinion, though, is that you could never duplicate a full list of this criminal BA's nefarious and anti-American activities . . . and I question some of these . . . like number 1 which may NOT have been a blunder but exactly what was planned . . . and played off as a blunder . . . but giving every benefit of every doubt . . . you have nicely started a list no doubt to be continued ad naseum for many years to come.

I am more tired of Bush than I can think. I DO hate him. I hate him for subjecting us all to his stupid everything!
War on Terror
War on Drugs
War on Illiteracy
War on ____________(fill in the blank)
These are not wars - these are complex problems/issues/situations that need to be dealt with in a variety of ways (i.e., diplomacy, intelligence, common sense, long-term economic development, etc) that have NOTHING to do with dropping a bomb, or shooting a gun. But, it's so much easier for people to not have to deal with complexity and just go with the flow - you want war, o.k., i don't have to think anymore, just leit you play with your guns.
I think the American people (and other people in the world) are just tired and giving up and giving in. It's the most dangerous situation for our future - it's really the end of the game when you allow that to happen.
