PHOTO ESSAY CONTEST
A couple of weeks ago I was playing with the camera and my kids decided they needed to have a "photo session". So they chose their setting.... in the tree in our front yard. Enjoy!

This is the tree in our front yard that the kids love to climb.

And this is my daughter.
Yes, she really did climb the tree in the dress.
We call her the "girlie tom boy" since she likes to do a lot of "tom boyish" things, but she still loves being a girl and doing all the girlie stuff like dressing up and playing with makeup and jewelry and shoes.

This is my youngest. The "monkey".
He is as rotten as he looks too!
Of course, he can be a real sweetheart when he wants to, but only if it serves his purpose, lol!

The two of them together in the tree. Older brother was not yet home from school on this particular afternoon, so he wasn’t around to be included.
But these guys had lots of fun!

My daughter decided to go in and change her clothes so she could play outside and not ruin the dress. However, she couldn’t get down out of the tree without help, lol. So my husband came over to get her out of the tree. Then, of course, he had to get in on the fun as well!

After changing, my daughter climbed the tree again to hang out and pose with her daddy and brother. And here I thought I wasn’t even in the right part of the world to see monkeys in my tree!!

WOW - Tonia, thank you very much :) I am just flattered - but so glad you enjoyed it!!
William, with a name like squirlsfood.... where do YOU think my house is??? LOL
Sure you can come climb Sarah! How far away are you ?? :-P
Shannon, I am laughing too hard at your comment. I don't think I could get into that tree, lol -- not much upper body strength :)
Debi, I did climb the occasional tree when I was a kid :) But most of the time I left that to my brother - I was usually too busy sitting under it with my nose in a book, lol!
Bo, this is the coolest tree :) -- and we have another tree in the backyard that has several rope swings in it that the kids love just as much :)
Bill - we have lots of fun in that tree....
Kay, watching her climb that tree in the dress was pretty funny - she didn't want help when I offered to pick her up and put her in the tree. She just climbed right up with no trouble then turned around and gave me a big "I told you so!" grin :)
Rita, Lisa, Judith, Lisa, Les, Marge, Lisa, and Barb - thank you. I DO have quite a lovely family ;-) Glad you all enjoyed the pictures!
We had lots of fun with this!
Thank you for sharing!
