Great photos! I love homemade applesauce but am too lazy to make it! However, I did find some at Super Target that tastes exactly like homemade, with cinnamon in it.......it costs like $3.25 for a jar of it, but, in my opinion, is well worth it. I do have some Empire Apples sitting here that I got at a farmer'smarket and need to get them used....probably for some juicy pies!
once when we were camping in the NC mountains we made applesauce in the crockpot over night...... oh what a heavenly smell we all woke up to..... we were all starving.....lol
