New Snap Happy Photo Theme ~ Feels Like Fall

The new Snap Happy photo theme is Feels Like Fall. I debated on whether or not to have this one, but I decided to go ahead with it in the end.

Autumn is a time for harvest, state fairs, raking leaves, attending football games, the world series, cooler weather and Halloween to name just a few things. Like these suggestions, your photo submissions should definitely "feel like fall" in order to qualify.

I've tried to include as much of a variety of photos as I had that fit this category. Obviously because I live in the South, some fall-like things are just not easy to find. Try to be creative with your submissions.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This theme will run through 5:00 pm ET on Wednesday, October 21st. That should give you all plenty of time to go out and take some interesting NEW photos. Please include "snap happy," "feels like fall," "fall photo" and "autumn" in the tags when submitting images to the group for this theme.

As a reminder...

Please don't post multiple photos of the same shot to the group. Only pick your BEST SHOT to share. Multiple photos of the same thing will be declined and I'll pick your best shot myself.

And kindly space your photo submissions out over the course of the theme duration by posting a few photos at a time over multiple days. No need to create a ton of work for me all at once by submitting 10-30 photos at the same time!

As always, please refrain from photo essays, articles and videos since they will not show up in the group gallery and thus will not be eligible for the competition. I will accept these items to the group if they fit the theme, but just know ahead of time that they won't be included.

Hopefully this will be a fun theme with a wide variety of photos.

Hmmm, I'll have to see what I have on hand. I don't expect that I can get out and take photo until I get the house back in order in time for my inlaws to get here and leave. :(

Marianne, this is another great topic and you've set the standards pretty high with your own work. Whenever I'm away from gather for a few days, I always look forward to ccoming back and seeing what you've posted. You never disappoint and I find browsing through your work very relaxing.

I LOVE the theme! Fall is my favorite time of year, and there are so many great things to photograph. I am heading out into the woods this weekend so some foliage scenes will definitely be taken! Can't wait to see all the entries.

Wonderful, wonderful photos! I haven't seen many decos for the season; not hanging out in the right places probably. lol I took a couple of shots today ... not much color, lots of gray and rain though lol, and neither good enough to post. :)
